The story involved an attempt by your standard thugs-for-hire to steal the technology of Charles Graiman (Bruce Davison, doing his best to class up the joint), the inventor of KITT, our favorite talking car. Charles has in fact built a new KITT, and when he’s attacked, KITT escapes to the Los Angeles underground… Whoops, wrong NBC ’80s action show. Sorry, KITT promptly escapes to find Charles’ daughter Sarah, and old family friend Mike Tracer (Justin Bruening).
